Sadie's ideal home

Sadie is an 8 month old Husky X looking for a home that can provide her with the love and time she needs to settle into her new home. She will need to be the only dog in the home but would benefit from some doggy friends to socialise with on walks to help build her socialisation skills as she grows up. Sadie has previously lived with cats and has the potential to join a home with a dog savvy cat that can tolerate excitable puppy behaviours. Sadie can be a little worried when meeting new people and can be worried by fast movements and loud noises, she would be best suited to a home where any children are of older primary school age and can appreciate her nervous nature. She will need help learning all the basics, including house training and will need a secure garden for exercise and play as she will be unable to explore the wider world on walks until she is fully vaccinated. Due to her young age, Sadie will need someone with her the majority of the time initially and any leaving hours should be built up gradually once settled. Sadie would benefit from puppy classes to help her continue her socialisation and skill building.

Sadie is a sweet girl who prior to our care had not experienced much of the world. She is still learning that it is not such a scary place and will need a patient and understanding family to help her build her confidence.
