About This Dog for Adoption
Snowdrop's ideal home
Meet gorgeous girl Snowdrop - a 6-month old American Bulldog X looking for her forever family. Snowdrop could potentially live with another dog in the home, pending successful meets here at the centre. She hasn't yet been mixed with other dogs here due to not being fully vaccinated, so this would be dependent on how she gets on with this.
Snowdrop's ideal home would mean that all children would be 8yrs+ and confident with bouncy dogs, as she is still a puppy and shows some boisterous, mouthy behaviours.
Any time Snowdrop would be left alone in the home would need to be built up, so she is looking for her people to be around for most of the day. She has shown herself to be a bit of a chewer when alone, gnawing on her bedding and her plastic beds.
Snowdrop hasn't been walked much on the lead, so this would need to be introduced and may need some training. She's a loveable, cuddly girl who is looking for a home that will keep her busy and keep up with her training & socialisation.
Snowdrop is very foody so keeping her focus should be quite easy! Once she has been fully vaccinated, she will need work on her dog social skills, but we feel once she has her confidence, she'll be lovely and playful.
Snowdrop would love a home where she can snuggle up on the sofa with her people.
Could you be Snowdrop's perfect match?
Snowdrop is a stunning girl and is likely to get to quite a large size. A family that are willing to take on a large breed with some puppy training requirements would be perfect! She's an active girl and once she has built her confidence out walking, would love to go on sniffy adventures.
Snowdrop is wonderful for all sorts of handling including veterinary; just a wiggly puppy!
She can get quite overexcited, and this can lead to some mouthing and/or grabbing of hands and clothes - she is easily redirected on a toy, but would be best suited to a calmer family while she learns the ropes.
She really enjoys playing with toys but she has ripped soft toys, so her favourites would be tug toys and balls to chase! She also loves her tricky enrichment, such as frozen kongs and destruction boxes to keep her brain busy whilst slowing her eating down.
We can't wait to see this girl in her forever home - she'll be such a fun addition to the family.
