About This Dog
Bodhi is a neutered, 2 and a half year old American Bulldog cross. Unfortunately, I am currently in a crisis and due to no fault of his own, Bodhi is looking for a new home. He has been around cats before, but due to his young age and size he gets very excitable so wouldn’t be recommended. He has never been around young children before but with some care, love, attention and boundaries, I believe he will be okay around older children (13+). I have had him since he left his litter as a young pup. He is house trained and doesn’t have accidents in the house, is up to date with all vaccinations including kennel cough. He will pull on the lead but with some time and guidance I believe this can be easily rectified. Once off the lead he is very good, he doesn’t go more than 15/20ft in front before waiting for you to catch up and will avoid other dogs if you tell him he can’t play with them. When out on his walks, his favourite thing in the world will be sticks. He does jump up the first few times with meeting people because he just wants to give lots of kisses, but when he knows he doesn’t have to fight for your attention he’s very chilled and quite a couch potato. He does well on car journeys, but the longest he’s spent on a car journey is only 30 minutes, one way. He has been very well loved and I am absolutely broken that it has come to this.
