About This Dog for Adoption

Ziggy's ideal home

Ziggy is looking for a calm and predictable home, with adopters who are home the majority of the time, who will take him on lots of fun adventures and will give him space and time to settle in. He can live with children aged 12 and over who are comfortable with a bouncy, playful dog, who will play with him nicely and will give him space to relax and rest when needed. Ziggy would like to be the only pet in the home, but would be happy with calm and polite walking buddies. He has a little training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit”, he is a very smart boy and he although he is keen to learn more, it would need to be in short, sweet sessions as he is easily distracted. He is housetrained, but may need a refresher in his new home so access to a garden is needed. Ziggy can be worried being left alone, so is looking for adopters who are at home the majority of the time, at least to begin with and any leaving time should be built up slowly once he has had time to get used to his new home and routine and would ideally be after a walk so he can relax and have a snooze! Ziggy will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Ziggy's perfect match?

Sweet little lad Ziggy is a 5 and a half year old Staffy cross who loves exploring the world. He is not bothered by toys and would rather have the company of humans. He is a foodie boy and likes to try tricks for treats, he will take them gently from the hand but does jump up on occasion if you do not give them quick enough for him. He loves a fuss and gets all wiggly and silly when having cuddles. This fab lad is looking for his new home.
