About This Dog for Adoption

Icey's ideal home

Meet our sweet girl Icey, who’s ready to find her forever home!

Icey has previously lived in a home where she was housetrained although she may need a little refresher as she settles back into home life. She’s been comfortable spending up to four hours alone and is used to relaxing in a crate. Icey is affectionate with her favourite people, often giving gentle nose nudges to soak up all the love she can.

She can be a little unsure around new people at first, but she’s learning that strangers can be friends too. We think she could live with children aged 14+ who can understand her sensitive side and give her the time she needs to feel at ease.

We’re still getting to know Icey’s feelings about other dogs, so for now, she’ll need to be the only pet in the household however this may change as we learn more about her. She’s a big fan of food, which makes training fun, and she’s working on skills like walking nicely on the lead.

Could you be Icey's perfect match?

Icey’s favourite things? Snuggling on the sofa, having the occasional burst of zoomies (sometimes forgetting her own size),and enjoying gentle adventures full of new smells to explore. She’s dreaming of a forever home with a cosy snoozing spot and plenty of love.

American Bully Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a American Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the American Bully Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
