About This Dog

Hugo's ideal home

Hugo is a very handsome 1yr old Labrador Mastiff Crossbreed who would love to find a new home with people who LOVE big dogs! He is very strong and unfortunately struggles to keep his paws on the floor. This all due to his giddy, playful personality, but his new family must be able to hold him safely on lead and be comfortable around big strong dogs generally. He is very foody though so continuing his training once settled in should be pretty straightforward. He was house trained in his previous home but will need a little refresher as he settles in so access to a secure garden would help with this.

Could you be Hugo's perfect match?

Hugo is the very definition of a Big Friendly Giant! He has no idea how strong he is and likes to literally bowl you over with love! He is super friendly and loves people. He can't get enough fuss! He is fine around other dogs but can get a bit OTT with them. We believe he'll settle faster in a home where he'll be the only pet, but he could potentially share with another VERY patient and playful dog who can put up his exuberant personality! Young kids won't suit Hugo but very confident older teens could be OK. So add Hugo to you favourites if you love BIG dogs with even bigger personalities!
