About This Dog for Adoption

Ralph's ideal home

Beautiful Ralph is on the search for adopters who are around for most of the day to help settle him into home life and build his confidence. Ralph needs a quieter household where he can relax and slowly come out of his shell. Due to his worried side, Ralph would be best suited to live with older teenagers who can respect his space and best support him coming out of his shell. Ralph could live with another dog who can tolerate his enthusiastic play style and boisterous energy. He must have a private and secure garden that he can enjoy with his family.

Could you be Ralph's perfect match?

Ralph is a big bouncy goofball who loves nothing more than a very enthusiastic snuggle from his favourite people. Ralph is a sensitive boy who has a very loving side that just needs time to come out. Ralph adores his toys- he will engage in a game of raggy but the soft ones that he can hold in his mouth are his favourite. He is a super clever boy who knows his name, sit, down, and walks loosely on lead. Ralph enjoys his treats and once he trusts you, he will take them gently from your hand.

American Bully Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a American Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the American Bully Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
